A line of hexagonal corrugated drums that are a space-saving, lower cost alternative to plastic, metal, or fiber drums for handling various powders is available from Technology Container Corp. of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.

TCC Hex Drums are a cost-effective replacement for plastic, metal, or solid-fiber drums in many applications and knock-down flat to provide a 10:1 space savings for efficient storage. Featuring one-piece construction, these corrugated hex drums erect without tape or glue, come in 5-55 gal. sizes and are rated up to 1,750 lbs. compression strength.

UN rated, TCC Hex Drums are manufactured from 275 or 350 double-wall grade corrugated with a kraft or white outside layer and can be printed with two-color graphics. They are stronger than square or rectangular corrugated boxes and offer better stacking strength. Custom sizes and special features such as hand-holds and other material grades can be incorporated.

TCC Hex Drums are priced from $2.00 ea., approx. 50% less than solid-fibre drums. Samples, quotations, and literature are available upon request.
